Influenced by the mountains in Bavaria, the land of my birth, I became very interested in landscape painting at a very early age, first in watercolours and then later in oil. The beautiful waters surrounding Victoria have had a bearing in my later work.

As a member of the Aviation Museum in Sidney, I also do aviation art. Although mostly self taught, I studied with Helen Rojak for one winter session, and spent another winter session with the late Friedrich Priddat. My work has been shown at the Sooke Fine Arts Show, in Sidney, in Parksville, and also has been donated to the CNIB Annual Charity Event for the past three years.
