1. Complete the enclosed Application for Enrollment and forward to school
accompanied by your advance payment of CA$500.00
-->Now, it's Free. * Application and Administration fee.
Please pay your payment by money order payable to Seigo Sakamoto.
The advance payment reserves your place in the school and is refundable
less an administrative fee(CA$250.00) when you decide not to attend.
2. If you have any concern about your physical condition, you may wish
to obtain a Canadian Aviation medical examination for the class of medical
appropriate to the pilot certificate you are seeking before leaving your
country. Please advise and we will be happy to forward a list of Canadian
Aviation medical examiners for your country. If you prefer to wait, we
can arrange for you to take your Canadian Aviation medical exam upon arrival.
The fee for the exam is only CA$80.00 in Victoria. The cost of the exam
is not included in the course price.
3. Submit either a photocopy of your birth certificate (registration
of birth) or passport.
4. You must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
If you have any concerns regarding your English ability, please phone your
school. We will be happy to assist in determining your English ability.
Experience has shown that most foreign nationals have adequate English
skills for flight training. If you have a basic knowledge of English, but
question your conversational ability, do not be too concerned. Your conversational
ability should improve quickly during flight training.
International Student Visa
Juan Air is a registered post-secondary institution to enroll non-immigrant alien students. The appropriate visa for vocational flight students is the Student Authorization. The Student Authorization visa can be issued for a maximum period of 12 months.
Confirmation of Enrollment and Visa Issuance
When your application for enrollment has been accepted, a letter of confirmation will be mailed to you. The letter will confirm your course enrollment and any other service you request. Any estimate of course credit will be based upon the flight information you provide in your Application for Enrollment, so please give us complete and accurate information of any previous flight experience you may have. If you are applying for a visa, included with your confirmation letter will be your form IMM 1294 for the Student Authorization visa. You will need to take your passport and visa form to your nearest Canadian Embassy or Canada Consulate Office for issuance of your visa.
Enrollment Agreement
Before beginning training, each student is provided with a written enrollment agreement. This agreement specifies the selected training course or course combination package, method of payment, and the terms and conditions of enrollment such as scheduling, cancellations and termination, insurance coverage, school and student liability, refunds, and the safety operating rules and procedures for the school. This important document is designed to prevent misunderstandings between the student and the school.
Payment
Flight training may be paid in advance or as training is received. You
can pay by hour for each of your flight training. We can accept your personal
check (if drawn on a Canadian Bank), travelers checks, Visa or Master.
* Only your Application and Administration fee must be paid by money
order.
Refund
Students may cancel their enrollment any time prior to school arrival without penalty or obligation. Within 3 days after the commencement of training, students may cancel their enrollment and receive a refund of all money paid, less an administrative fee of CA$250.00 and any training fee. The net amount owing will be immediately refunded. After 3 days from the commencement of training, administrative fee (CA$500) is not refundable. The total refund is determined by deducting the amount of training completed at the current hourly rates from the total amount of course prepayment. Used books and supplies, audiovisuals, and other non-instructional fees for services received are nonrefundable. Any refund due will be refunded to the student in 30 days.

per month.
Rental cars are available via general rental companies for as low as
CA$25.00 per day plus insurance if required. Most students, who are with
us for an extended period of time, will purchase either a used automobile,
motorcycle, or bicycle and then sell it upon completion of their training
program.
Living Expenses

to the cost of housing, you should make your budget approximately CA$400.00
per month for food and miscellaneous personal expenses.
