The Half-bakery is home to micro projects (bagatelles
au Francais) and little crunchy bits of stuff for various systems.
Just in case you link straight here, dodging my main page. Dungeonautica is an instance of Risus. If you use anything from it in play and it works out really well, email me your anecdote and I'll enter you in a draw for one of our products.
Fudge Epitaph(362k)

Wheels On Fire
RPG
My d10 dice pool system. Don't pretend that you didn't write one too. Of course,
this one is about autodueling.
Pirates of
Dark Water free RPG(715k)
I confess to having a healthy obsession for 80's cartoons. I watched a great
deal of the Pirates of Dark Water
with my niece Molly and my nephew Matthew. Then I figured, "What a great
chance to get them into gaming!" The Pirates of Dark Water RPG is what
I wrote for them.
PoDW RPG now available in HTML format.
The Reverse RPG
In an ordinary RPG the player decides what she wants to do and then a scheme
is deployed to determine success or failure. In R2PG the player randomizes the
character's action, and then chooses to succeed or fail.
Mandatory Card Based
RPG (MCBRPG)
Every designer has one. Most eventually do some spring cleaning of their binders
and throw it out. Others move from tiny apartment to tiny house and throw it
out. Some grow out of their 'post-adolescent idealistic phase' ...and throw
it out. I put mine up here.
High Octane!(48k)
I have enjoyed several sessions of S. John Ross's spiffy Risus. Here is an expansion/elaboration/explication
of my own. When I first wrote it I incorporated enough that you almost didn't
need the original Risus to play. I've cut it back to plain old supplement level
for this incarnation. And I have no idea why I called it High Octane.
