Arctic Star Wilderness Medicine is a 7 year old company that specializes in training and providing Emergency Medical Service, Search and Rescue, Security and Outdoor/Backcountry experience to candidates on a customized, personalized basis.

The Arctic Star group of companies was formed by professionals in EMS, the Military, Law Enforcement, and Search and Rescue disciplines, with many years of experience in delivery of emergency medicine, tactical solutions, and safety programs.  On completion of development of our programs and printing of our books, these course outlines, and materials were presented to governing certification bodies.  Arctic Star programs were granted equivalency by Workplace, Health and Safety Manitoba and Occupational Health and Safety Canada in all levels of training.

Courses span all levels of intervention from Emergency First Aid and CPR, to Advanced Wilderness Medicine as well as Search and Rescue, Survival and Tactical Operations.  Courses are customized to meet the requirements of certification, the practical application of the client, and the confidence and competence of the individual.  These courses have found great success in industry by lowering compensation assessments, reducing loss of work days, producing better rehabilitation outcomes, as well as providing safety programs that are both practical and progressive for employers.

There is no opportunity for second guessing when wilderness skills are called on.
