Not much to see here.... just the engine ready to be dropped into the car for the first time. 383W with Eagle rotating, JE Pistons, about 8.4:1 compression
with my 68cc heads |

Started with a set of BBK truck headers flipped backwards |

Steve did a great job with the tubo set-up. 2.5"
crossover Very nice merge to the T4 flanged PT88mm turbo |
| This is the Precision 1000hp water to air intercooler.
As you may be able to tell, we flipped one tank, and chopped and modified
a corner, adding a 3.5" elbow for easier mountin into the inner fender
area of the passenger side of the car. We used a cheap scavange pump to pump the water from the intercooler to the junk yard VW Passat radiator that we mounted in the nose of the car, ahead of the tranny cooler and engine rad. |

All hooked up, and ready to fire up. Mass air meter is a home made untit (3.5" aluminum tube with epoxied on sensor mount hacked from a factory MAF), injectors are 60# Siemens Deka's, and duel parallel walboro fuel pumps, through Professional Products rails and regulator. |

Here it is, as it sat on the dyno where it made 648 rwhp through the turbo 400 and 5200 converter at about 15psi. As it sat here, first time out, it ran a 9.59 at 142 mph, then later bettered the mph to 145, it was the end of the season, so I'll have to wait till next year to run it again! Over the winter, I may replace the edlbrock heads with some TEA TFS 205 TW, add either intercooler water spray or water injection (or both), and hope for that 8.90.... fingers crossed! ;`) |
