This must be a touch of faith. I'm at a job doing CNA work at a nursing home and I love these dear people! The issue here is, I'm a LPN Grad with a diploma and I think I'm on the wrong side of the desk. By this I mean I'm 52 years young, been through two motorcycle accidents in 4 years, one breaking my back, which, by the way, was MIRACULESLY HEALED BY JESUS HIMSELF !!! The other caused a head bleed in the front parietal lobe of my brain. I was healed of that. My point being... I just can't seem to LIFT these elderly one's anymore without it causing me severe pain when I come home or when I have my days off. I'd much rather take my LPN test very soon.. I've ordered materials to help up-date on the nursing procedures now and do it! I would love to have your prayers for me as I am a firm believer in "Through Jesus Christ, I can do all things!" Please pray for my sister in law, Robin as she continues to battle the effects of cancer surgeries (3) and all the chemo treatment (colon cancer, liver cancer in 4 places, and a small growth in her lung all treated with surgery and chemo). She has now developed scerosis of the liver, as well as retaining large amounts of fluid in her cells and a serious viral infection & blockage (or mass) in her intestines where the infection is. Dr's have told her the liver disease is fatal how long though, just depends on how rapidly it continues to deteriorate. She is only 52. She is so ill, and frightened. Please pray for a miracle if that is in the Lord's plans. We love her. Thank you for all you do, for so many and I pray God will give you the continued strength and insight to help so many. It breaks my heart that his daughter Judy that was caring for him got a call that her dad passed on her birthday. He went to Arizona to stay with his daughter and family. And he was well taken cared for by them. He was a retired Firefighter, also worked for the Church, and Security at Cardinal Cushing Hospital, and protected our country in the Military. He gave so much to his family and community, friends. He was also only one of a few who had survived when he had to swim the channel during the war. May he rest in peace and he will be sadly missed by all family and friends. I know the gates of Heaven open when it was time for him to come home. He was diagnosed with Leukemia and went through so much including bone marrow transplant. And then in just months he was gone. I am just coming around now that he is not here. He came to Florida for our sons graduation 5/18/07 watched Shane graduate High Honors. He was so proud of his son. Then we got a call. We got on a plane ASAP just made it before he passed on 6/29/07. My son was only 17 was looking forward to going to Medical School when his father that he looked up to had passed just weeks after his graduation from High School. My mother has had renal failure for 8 years. I have had to put her in a nursing home due to the fact that I have breast cancer. I have finished radiation and chemo treatments and have placed all in God's hands. My sons, Daniel & Charlie have had no contact with me in many years. I have had a very bad year, since June 18th 2006, I lost my Mother, I have no brothers or sisters. On July 10th and Aug 2nd of 2006 I lost 2 friends. One was killed, the other to a heart attack. But only God knew what was next. My beautiful daughter was killed in a tragic car accident on Nov 13th, she was 4 months pregnant and left 3 beautiful little boys and a very devoted husband. So I lost 5 people 5 days less of 5 months, every day I drive by her accident site. Everyday I drive by the cemetary, everyday I am reminded of her in her little boys and everyday the man that killed her has never apologized and everyday I ask God to help me or to show me a sign that she is ok and that the hurt will be a little less.
