Beginner's Quilting Class

We talked about colour value a bit and everyone arranged their dark/medium/light fabrics.

The instructor took all of our fabrics in a big stack and cut the whole lot into strips for us.

Then we stitched the strips together and cut the "stratas" into squares and squared each one off to 5".

These are my colours.  I think my wee quilt is going to look lovely when it's all done.  Will add more after next weeks class to show you my progress!
