The village proper is a three minute drive from the condo and offers a variety of services, amenities, restaurants and galleries. You can rent canoes and kayaks, or bikes and travel for miles on the Galloping Goose Trail. Sooke also offers fishing charters, whale watching expeditions and a new adventure zip line, where you are suspended on a wire and fly through the forest! Our famous Sooke Potholes are a five minute drive from home-base, which offer incredible hikes and awesome swimming holes carved out by the crystal clear river. Travel past Sooke along the West Coast Road and discover beautiful, rugged west coast beaches, favorite surfing spots,  old growth forrests, and the Juan de Fuca hiking trail. Time the tides right to view underwater marine life at Botanical Beach located at Port Renfrew. The sandstone shelf with all its potholes is exposed featuring large anemones, sea urchins, starfish, grasses and more!
