The City of Garden's Chorus is made up of many talented women, here are but a few:

Our Director Julie Smith

 Julie's been barbershopping since before she could walk.... OK, since 1986, which is still a long time! Starting out as a Baritone with Purbrook Harmony Chorus in Britain, Julie held the roles of section leader, choreographer, assistant director and then director as well as DMA for the UK. Julie came to us as a tenor in 1994 with all that experience PLUS a 1st Place quartet medal she won singing bari with Bold as Brass. In 1997 she co-directed the chorus with Joette Dunphy and has been our Director extraordinaire since 1998.

Julie also sings Tenor with Accent! quartet and when asked what she does in her spare time, Julie answers " Spare time? What on earth is that?"
