Welcome to my Hero Quest and Advanced Hero Quest resources
page where you can find downloads and lots of info for one of the
greatest fantasy board games ever.

It all started with this game back in 1990 when I picked it up of the shelf at a Superstore at
Christmas time. On that Christmas day my wife, children and I played the game for hours and I
was hooked on the whole Game System concept. We played through all the first quest book and
continued on with Return of the Witchlord and then Kellars Keep. I created tons of my own
quests which I will be posting here and also picked up all the rest of the Quest packs. The Elf
pack and the Barbarian packs were really great ideas and very enjoyable to play, to bad that
was the last ones they created for the game. I also got my hands on the Wizards of Morcar which
the Games Workshop store had on their shelf in Vancouver and have since picked up the other
UK quest pack Against the Ogre Horde. Advanced Hero Quest wasn't far behind and I played
that game intensely for years. I picked up the Terror in the Dark expansion and got copies of
all the White Dwarf quests for both HQ and AHQ. I will try and have ZIP files for all these
quests right here on this page and images of all my miniatures that I have painted for these
games.

A mixture of the minis, from Left. Goblin, Orc, Skeleton, Liche, Wizard, Paladin, Dwarf, Front row.

The bases are fairly close and so are the board section squares. I feel that you could easily use
these for either game.

Board overlay showing that the squares and room sizes are quite compatible.
