Gentlemen, it is a FANTASTIC experience visiting your site; and I
just scratched the surface! I hope we can develop such a successful website
for the Battle River Railway Modellers in Camrose, AB. We are experiencing
excellent membership growth for such a small population base(15,000+) in
such a short time(we started officially in Jan. 2001).
The BRRM is presently constructing 2 layouts; 1 modular and 1 permanent
in our small clubhouse in downtown Camrose. The address is 4973-50th st,
suite #2; reg. meetings every Thurs. @ 7:30.
It is just AWESOME how this hobby is growing in this country; keep
up the great work in your neck of the woods.

Nice to see modelling going and growing so well in my home town. As a founding father of the Prairie Rail Workshop back in 1981, I'm pleased to see the activity. Little did we realize where R.R. modelling would grow to! I'm honored to have had a small part in it! Hello to my old modelling friends. Don Marchant

It has been a long time since I have collected trains.
Now that my son is old enough, I can share my interests with him.
I collect O-scale Lionel and my son has taken a liking to
Thomas the tank engine. I found out that a o-scale collection
was made for Thomas. To complete our collection, we need to find
Perce the engine. If anyone can help us find this engine, We'd

Thanks for the detailed construction articles! I am into battery power
and handlaid track - about 55 turnouts so far using code 250 aluminum rail.
I'm a little tight for time right now (3 kids, job, newsletter, volleyball,
RR hobby), but one of these days I'd like to compare methods and strategies.
I have had bad experiences with Llagas Creek plastic tiestrips. They have
a tight gauge, barely over 44 mm, and break apart after a few years outside.
Bit by bit I have more and more handlaid track. Same ties as you guys,
1/4 by 3/8 by 3.5 inch, and clear white pine works for me. Thanks!
