I wanted to do this web page to celebrate being a woman who loves women. I want to do my small part to promote diversity. It is my hopes that many women will visit this site and add something and take something away.

This web site was originally developed to support my email list which is for single lesbians who live in British Columbia Canada. Since then I have created other email lists so have changed the focus of this web site. This web site is for all lesbians regardless of country to enjoy. The email lists are still for Canadians but I hope this web site will be enjoyed by everyone.

Women need to empower themselves by accepting themselves as they are. We need to love ourselves for whom we are. I have found the lesbian community is much more accepting of all shapes and sizes in women and that has been validating to many a woman. I hope this site will not idealize women but treat us with the dignity we deserve.
