Dr. Shephard is a specialist in Exercise Science,
Sports
Medicine and
Environmental Physiology in Health and Disease. He is Professor
Emeritus of Applied Physiology in the Faculty of Physical Education and
Health, University of Toronto, and a consultant in Exercise Sciences.
Dr. Shephard is married to Muriel Neve (Cullum) and has
two daughters:
Sarah (living in Zürich) and
Rachel (living in Brackendale, BC).
He is a member of the local United Church of Canada, in
Squamish, and
enjoys walking, gardening, choral singing, philately and
French conversation.
