The northwest coast of
Vancouver Island is an incredible place to experience the shaping
influences of the Pacific Ocean. An hour walk takes you to San Josef Bay,
a secluded beach with weather beaten trees. Here the full force of the
Pacific weather systems can be felt through the shapes of the trees and
the rock formations. In this painting the link between the elements is
captured through the movement found in the swirling sky and weathered,
twisted trees.
