The Rest & Recuperate Equine Care Society is a animal retirement home located on beautiful central Vancouver Island, BC. We have been operating for 10 years with large animals and 16 years with small animals.

We do not adopt our animals out and we do not make any profit off of our animals.
 

We provide a permanent retirement home for your animal; full of love, kindness, food, shelter, companionship and any medical attention.
 

They come to us past their prime and now they can live their life out in comfort and happiness.

Looking for donations of Hay for the winter please!

We need horse mats/weightlifting mats. Also dog food -Prism (Maintenance); cat food- Meow Mix or Friskies; Cat Litter- non-clumping; 14% horse complete pellets and senior horse pellets.

All items can be left for pick up or you can come out to see the animals!
