Robert's Ranger Supercharger Project

1993 Ford Ranger

2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine, 5 speed manual transmission

2 wheel drive, stock 14 inch aluminum wheels

Arrow Canopy

I bought this truck for two main reasons and a third that explains my decision to purchase this particular model. I needed reliable transportation, and because I burned wood at time keep my family warm winter, owning pickup enabled me obtain firewood sufficient quantity to make it through an entire season of cold weather. In addition, plug feature this engine might make possibility of direct fuel injection more likely in the future

I learned pretty quickly that this machine has barely sufficient power to move onto a freeway onramp at a rate equivalent to other vehicles on the road, and with a load in the bed, its acceleration can best be described as "glacial" Many drivers who do not appreciate this truck's inability to get out of their way express their distress in all manner of enraged gesticulations. I've been working on cars since my teens and felt that the best solution for this grim situation involved forced induction.

And my life has NEVER been the same since I made that fateful decision!
