Shih
Tzu's are the only dog bred at Pot O' Gold Kennel and
we have |

been
breeding for over twelve years. The main goal of
our breeding |
|
program
is to improve the breed. Good temperament is the
main |
|
characteristic we strive to improve, followed by color
and structure. |
|
Temperament is important because most of our dogs go to pet homes. |

|
We offer companion,
obedience, show puppies and the occasional |
|
mature dog. A
written health guarantee is offered with each puppy |
|
sold. Eyes are
checked and certified clear on all breeding stock by |
|
a licensed veterinarian.
Our dogs exhibit the proper flowing gait |
|
typical in the Shih Tzu
with large domed heads, and a wide full jaw |
|
to hold the right number
of teeth. |

All pet
puppies are sold on a non-breeding contract. |

I am a
member of the Canadian Kennel Club, the Canadian Shih
Tzu |
|
Club and
the local Sault Ste. Marie Kennel Club. I have
been taught |
|
obedience with the Soo
Kennel Club for ten years and highly |
|
recommend at least basic
obedience for every dog. |
