STEERING:

  1. http://www.earlycj5.com/tech/steering/saginaw/saginaw.php Excellent set of drawings for Saginaw steering box attachment plate
  2. http://www.film.queensu.ca/CJ3B/Tech/SaginawSteering.html this shows conversion photos for a Willys CJ3B
  3. http://www.willysamerica.com/  if you look in "repower conversions you will see a standard Saginaw conversion.  Of course it looks like it is much easier to do the actual work (cutting and welding) on a bare chassis!
  4. http://www.slick-willys.com    shows the beautiful 'Wicked 53 Willys' that underwent major surgery on the front crossmember to allow Saginaw steering placement.  I suspect this placement will only work with a body lift to allow space for the power steering hose hookup. This link seems to be broken.
  5. http://www.cgoodwin.com/Willys/Steering.htm   shows manual Saginaw manual steering installation.  This set up is interesting because the steering input shaft to the steering box did not go through the front X member, it went completely under it.
  6. http://www.advanceadapters.com/  these are very well known suppliers  of Saginaw conversion pieces and kits.
  7. http://www.willystruck.com Steve Weigle's massively updated pickup gets a custom Saginaw steering box. See 'Chassis Mods' pages 8-12
  8. http://www.off-road.com/tlc/tech/saginaw/   shows Toyota Landcruiser Saginaw conversion, which is very similar to the jeep/Willys conversion
  9. http://www.offroaders.com/info/tech-corner/project-cj7/project-cj7-agr-gearbox.htm  shows the procedure and problems of installing a high performance AGR version of Saginaw Pump and steering box.
