Favorite Links and Contact Info

When I started to rebuild this site it was my intention to have a guestbook here as well.   Unfortunately in the last year I've been hit numerous times by lame hackers either clogging up the guestbook with inane gibberish or using it to post the most disghusting images, so I decided to forgo that fun exercise.   I still like to hear your comments, but I'm afraid others won't be able to read them as you will have to send them by email.   Don't worry though, thats easy enough.   I've provided you with a convenient clickable link in blue just below. Aren't I just so thoughtful?

Ways to contact me

YaHoo Instant Messenger - search and add Otterkins2
Paltalk - search and add Ottertwo
ICQ - my number there is 17379878

Favorite Sites

Pal Talk
Just the most amazing communications program and so user friendly although it suffers from a lot of popup ads. Allows for text chat, voice chat, file transfer protocol, and video. Too kewl!

YaHoo Instant Messenger
Over the last two years I have taken to using YaHoo Instant Messenger far more than Pal because it has all the same features (and a few more besides) as well as totally lacking in advertising gimmicks.    Unlike MSN Instant Messenger, it contains absolutely no Spyware or Adware.    It's also free to download.

Elfenone
Here is a world filled with the most delightful poems and pictures of fanciful dreams.    All of it comes from the VERY fertile imagination of the Lady Elfenone.    The Lady is a writer and artist of remarkable talent.

The Goddess of IRC: Linzii
Another extraordinarily talented woman.    Surreal photography, poems of the heart and other things.    She is an excellent Web Designer too!    Tell her Otter sent you.    In fact, she is in large part responsible for teaching me how to create web sites like this using HTML rather than relying on Desk Top Publishers that more often screw you up than anything.

Goldenhawk: A tribute to the Fallen and Those Who Serve.
Some years ago I wrote a piece that won an award for writing excellence.    This in turn got posted on newsgroups and I'm amazed at how far it traveled around the world.    Imagine my surprise at finding it here, done with great honour and dignity for those we owe such a great debt to.    Worth the visit, but quite tearful.

Shilobrats
I built this site to combat the greed of sites like Gradfinders and Classmates.    No one should be held to ransome to re-establish ties with those they grew up with.    This site is free to all to visit in the hopes that it brings us all back together again.    This is where Otter grew up, and about the friends he grew up with.

Crystalinks
This is just the most incredible site and is chock full of mystical things.    It will take months to go through it as the site is HUGE!    A great deal of effort and research has gone into this continually growing site.

Paint Shop Pro Tutorials
Quite often instructional material is written by computer programmers.    If you understand quantum physics, I guess that's OK.    The problem is, most of us don't have a CLUE as to what they are trying to say.    They can't communicate with a flatworm never mind a human being.    So here's a lady that can.    She makes it so simple it's silly and you'll wonder what all the fuss was about in the first place.    PSP5, 6 and 7 are covered here in simple step-by-step lessons.

Pic: "Misty Brook" by Klancy. One of my favorites. This is a real place!

OUTSIDE THE LINES

This is the place where Otter dreams,
In sunlit glades by mossy streams.
Sprinkled with flowers and sweet leaf green,
The air is fragrant, sweet and clean.
The sky is cotton and azure too,
The stream reflects those colours true.
There's so many exciting things to do
As long as I am here with you.
Greetings from the birds that call,
A happy chorus from us all
Through endless paths of tree-lined halls,
Laying down in grass so tall.
Bide with me here for a short time
And learn to colour outside the lines.
Drop away those things that bind
And come and play with Otter kind!
