WORLD CLASS ATHLETE
Born and raised in Lake Cowichan BC, and like most other kids, I grew up playing all kinds of sports to pass the time. At the age of 18, just when I was setting out to experience life, my world as I knew it came crashing down. On May 22, 1991 while working in the logging industry, I was involved in an industrial accident that crushed my legs between a machine and a pile of logs.
From that day forward my life took a new direction. Through lots of hard work and endless support of my friends and family, I have proven you can do anything you want to.
I am now a full time athlete who competes world wide as a member of the Canadian Alpine Disabled Ski Team and I am a competitive water skier and mountain biker in the summer.
