Pronghorn antelope

This thick four-point mule deer buck was with a small group of does. To my surprise he was allowing another small buck to hang around.

The buck pictures were taken with the Minolta 500-mm, f8 reflex lens at either 1/1,500 or 1/2,000 second at ISO 400.
This small male fawn (with nubbin horns) and the others shown here were hanging around the Cowley Boat Club campground in September.

The doe pictures were taken with the Minolta 100-300-mm APO zoom lens and ISO 400.
