have a wide range of books, periodicals, CDs, microfiche
and microfilm. These are listed in the library catalogue which can be
found here. New titles can be found here. |

| Equipment | There are four computers that access the internet. One of these can access Ancestry.com. The computer for Ancestry.com can be booked in advance. There are microfilm and microfiche readers. We also have a computer connected to Scan-Pro 1000 microfilm/fiche scanner which can print images through the laser printer. The machines used for printing microfilm/fiche images cannot be booked. | ||
| BC Vital Statistics | We
have purchased the Vital Events microfilms from the British Columbia
Vital Statistics Agency covering: * Births - 1858 to 1888 * Marriages - 1895 to 1933 * Deaths - 1872 to 1988 * Overseas Casualties from WWII As each year of vital events becomes available we will add to our collection. Instead of driving to Victoria you can save a trip and copy your records at our Library. The cost of copying the registrations at the library is $2.00 per copy. If you can't make it to the library, we can copy the registration for you. If you wish to mail-in a request, the cost is $5.00 each. |
