Photos Taken Around Quesnel, B.C.

---Some of these photos are from my home page and some are entirely new to the site. A few were taken with a Mavica but most were taken with a Fine Pix S602 (our newer digital) I'm not a great photographer, but I do like to take pictures! So for me digital is fun and (once you have the camera) not too expensive. Single click on these photos to make larger, or right click and 'save as' to your computer if you would like them.

This page was created June 2003 and is under construction....Updated September 2004

The first photo is Bowron Lake. The next one was close to Bowron Lake and the third was just out of Quesnel. Twins by pulp mill in Quesnel.

The falcon and squirrel were on Barkerville Highway. This deer was on Dragon Lake Hill cloverleaf (in town). The doe and twins were by the pulp mill.

These Photos were taken on a trip through Cunningham Pass to Likely. When we put these pictures on the computer and zoomed in on the cabin in the third photo, we could see smoke coming from the chimney! The fourth photo is Ghost Lake. This is a very beautiful trip but I think it would be even more spectacular in the fall. I wouldn't take a car, but you don't need a four wheel drive either.

Matthew River leaving Ghost Lake, the Falls (we're on the bridge), and the river as it leaves the falls. The last photo--deer by Dragon Lake.

The first applet photo above was taken at Quesnel Lake and the second one was a sunrise over Quesnel. This is my first attempt at using an applet. They look better with a border, so I may do that in the future.
