Our Ancestral Database

The names in this database include both mine and my wife's direct ancestors and all the descendants from them that we have been able to trace with reasonable certainty. Some of this information has come from Parish records, Census, BMD records, Electoral Roles, Cemetery records as well as information from direct descendants and other records. There are living peoples names in this database, however only that information which is readily accessible publicly is included. Most of this means it is a name only without further information, sometimes country or place of birth. No photos of living people are included.

If you note any errors or omissions please let me know. It is difficult to find information unless we share. I have been very fortunate in having a number of people - sometimes very distant relatives, who I had no knowledge of, offer to share their part of a family tree.
I thank them very much for this and hope they find this website very useful in expanding their own family trees.

I am always looking at add information such as old photographs or occupations etc. If you can help, please let me know. I have recently received many photos from a variety of sources which has contributed to the number already here. Thanks to all those who have kindly made these available
