Hello!  My name is Shannon and I am a registered nurse living in  Manitoba.  I was born and raised in Winnipeg and entered nursing a little later in life - at age 30.  I've worked in a variety of areas, ranging from community and flight nursing to critical care environments, and have enjoyed the challenge of a variety of experiences.  I have taken a certificate course in foot care nursing and have opened my own small in-home business, Heel Your Sole Footcare Services.

I married my husband Fred in 1989 and we have one son, Jordan, who is the light of our lives.  Fred works for the city and is an avid and accomplished athlete...his son clearly takes after him.  Jordan plays baseball and graduated from high school this year.  He is working presently and hoping to go on to college; we are very proud of him.

We have three dogs - a 12-year-old Bichon Frise (Buster), a 8-year-old border collie (Spike) and a 3 year-old lab cross (Ozzy).  They keep us more than just a little busy but we can't imagine life without them.
