"A Whale of a Pod"

This is a photo of Lynn's Orca, titled "A Whale of a Pod."  It was  on display outside Thrify Foods in Victoria.

"Orcas in the City" was a Lions Society  fundraiser benefitting children with disabilities.  Lynn was one of the artists who's design was selected and she was given an 8' fibreglass Orca whale sculpture to decorate.  The  painted  sculptures were on display around the cities of Victoria and Vancouver from May to November  of 2004.

In November,  each sculpture was auctioned off to the highest bidder.  In total, $400,000 was raised for the Lions Society's Easter Seal operations.
