and limited edition giclee prints
Giclee (pronounced zhee-clay) is a type of
printmaking technology using high resolution digital scans to produce prints that are
suitable for museum exhibits, collections, and fine art editions. The giclee process
provides incredible detail and colour accuracy.
Lynn Kingham's prints are available either on canvas
or on watercolour paper.
It is recommended that collectors treat their prints
the same as they would an original piece of art. Stretched canvas prints have been
finished with a protective coating, just as an original oil or acrylic painting would
be. The prints on watercolour paper have not been treated with any coatings, so they
must be protected from moisture by glass, and hung out of direct sunlight, just as an
original watercolour painting should be.
Some of Lynn's prints are available as individually
signed and numbered limited edition prints, while others are available as individually
signed, open edition prints. Most are available both on canvas and on watercolour
paper. Art cards are also available for many of the images.
