On December 17th 1896 I baptized Eva Irene Maude born June 25th 1896 of the lawful marriage of David Coughlin and Margaret Ellen Stewart. Sponsors David Stewart and Lizzie Stewart." (signed) A.J. McDougall Pst. A margin note says "Married Wilfred Dalton July 2. . . " place and year cut off on my page. This baptism is re-entered on page 140 giving her birth date as 20th June and her father's name as Cochran. Since this record is easier to read the birth date is questionable on page 138 I have used June 20th as her birth date.

Note also the following baptism registry entry four years later indicating that Margaret's married name was Cochran versus Coughlin or Coughline:

"Ellen Marian McIsaac. On May 27th 1900 I baptized Ellen Marian born Dec 25th 1899 of the lawful marriage of John R. McIsaac and Mary McDonald. Philip A. Stewart, Mrs. Cochran (Maggie Stewart) Sponsors." Signed A. J. McDougall P.P. SM Pp 152.
