Nestled into a beguiling landscape surrounding Ballinskelligs Bay, the village of Ballinskelligs is somewhat of a centre of Gaelic culture. Located just off the famous Ring of Kerry, Ballinskelligs makes an ideal base for touring the Ring and exploring the coast and mountainous country inland. If you wish you can relax in our cottages or enjoy a swim at one of Ireland's best blue flag beaches just 300 metres away.
You can enjoy a day of golf at the famous Waterville Links course or take one of the daily boat trips to the Sceiligs and the ruins of sixth century St. Finian's Abbey. Perhaps some time spent walking along the country trails, or having a picnic among the Celtic ruins is more to your liking.
In the evening, listen to traditional Irish music while you have a pint at one of the local pubs or enjoy fresh seafood at a fine restaurant. Later, retire to your cottage and let the sound of gentle surf put you to sleep and rewake you in the morning to start another fine day in one of the most relaxing parts of Ireland.
