06.14.11 -		Have commenced another contract with NGRAIN while continuing to update my reel. Just posted a WIP of a Jump Animation on Vimeo.
03.11.11 -		Oriana has won “Annex Pro Best Animation Award” at the VWIFF Vancouver Women in Film Festival last weekend as posted on my blog. Also, the full film has been released on Vimeo here: http://vimeo.com/7728486.
02.15.11 -		Oriana will be screening on March 4, 2011 at the Vancity Theatre as part of the Vancouver Women in Film Festival "Reel Women - Documentaries and Short Films", and I have been asked to speak at the talk-back afterward. Also, a short logo animation I recently created was posted on my blog.
2010
10.24.10 -		Just returned from my trip to the Azores Portugal, and found out that Oriana is screening during Vancouver's Short Film Festival! Things have been busy with my new job, finishing my side contract job and preparing for an upcoming BC Arts Council funded flamenco dance production "Café de Chinitas".
08.31.10 -		Tomorrow I am leaving for my Azorean government sponsored trip to the Azores to both present Oriana as a winner of LabJovem and partake in a dance workshop and performance, collaborating with the same group of professional dancers that I worked with in 2007. I will be blogging about my experience at blog.karadesigns.ca. When I return I will begin work as a 3D Animator for NGRAIN while finishing off post-production work for a local filmmaker.
06.16.10 -		Two new interviews posted on the Oriana News site, one by Daniela Gouveia for the official Azores European Region website and one by Humberta Araujo for the "IMF/ESF" Toronto publication. Also, volunteering for the next upcoming Siggraph event ModNation Racers, a game designed by Vancouver's United Front Games.
05.05.10 -		Officially graduated from Emily Carr University with a degree in Media Arts - majoring in Animation. Volunteering for this month's Siggraph's "Designing Assassin's Creed" event. Just found out that Oriana was screened in the Monstra 2010 Animation Festival in Lisbon, Portugal in March during the "Monstrinha - Filmes para Escolas" at the "Museu Nacional de Etnologia".
02.11.10 -		I am pleased to announce that Oriana is the winner of the Azores, Portugal LabJovem Contest under the category Film. It has been screened in Terceira and Lisbon and throughout the Azores this coming September.
01.22.10 -		Volunteering for Vancouver Siggraph's SPARK FX Festival, and next weeks' Victoria Film Festival where Oriana will be screening during the "Brave Faces" Shorts Program on January 30th at 4:30 pm at Capital 6 Theatre 1.
2009
12.07.09 -		Oriana has been accepted to the Victoria Film Festival in Victoria, BC, Canada for their January 2010 screening.
09.30.09 -		Oriana has been accepted to the Cinanima Festival in Espinho, Portugal, and will be playing at their November festival. Check out their page: http://www.cinanima.pt for details. Also new animation demo reel is posted.
09.08.09 -		Myspace Blog updated, linking to an Oriana article on an Açores RTP blog and a new Art School Reviews article
07.24.09 -		Website colour-scheme, layout and content updated, new animation reel on its way.
