Kara Miranda Lawrence is a Digital Animation and Visual Artist who specializes in 3d Animation, Modeling and Design. Her recent work includes 3D animation for training and maintenance support systems for the US and Canadian military, pre-production and post-production 3D work a for a government funded film installation and as a set modeler, recreating heritage Vancouver buildings for a 3D virtual set of an upcoming television series.

While obtaining a Bachelor of Media Arts degree at Emily Carr University, Kara created an award winning film "Oriana" (09) which has screened across Canada, the US and Portugal. Growing up in an artistically stimulating environment, Kara developed her talent in music, dance, writing and visual art and finds animation to be the perfect medium to combine all these forms. With her debut film Oriana under her belt, she hopes to continue refining her 3D skills, creating short films and collaborating with other like-minded artists.
