Moist and sweetly smelling
Confettied by a thousand peony petals
Dropped by bowed and waterladen heads
All at once In a gushing surrender.

   Glowing in the almost-dark, pink roses, drinking from my blue watering can

                                   Lemony yellow throated frog resting vigilantly at the sunny pond edge.

                                       Purple cone flower, sitting still in the sun, waiting for inspiration to come
