Joy tending her roses                                          About Joyful Creations

Joy Taylor  has lived  and gardened in the lower mainland
of British Columbia, Canada for 25 years. Her latest
garden was featured in Steve Wysall's before and
after gardens column in the Vancouver Sun several
years ago. This year he returned for the "Gardens in Bloom "                           and her garden
was one of several stops on the tour.
The garden has been featured in many garden tours,
as well as the site for a wedding.
She has lived on five different properties, and each had
it's own challenges. Her latest garden in South Surrey,
British Columbia  is an acre. When her and her husband moved
there eight years ago there was nothing but a large expanse of
grass and field. Since then the property has been transformed into\
a garden sanctuary. See garden gallery for some pictures of the
                                                      garden as it is now.

For a number of years friends would ask for advice
and  design plans, and so Joyful Creations was born.
It seemed like an appropriate name, as Joy is also an
artist and  it suited both loves. Many gardens have
been  created, and many paintings inspired.

Many of her clients would request information on
what to do each month in the garden and so the
seeds for her  newly published book
"A Year in Your West Coast Garden" were planted.
