FIBA
- No changes since Fall 2010, which adopted the NBA-sized lane (restricted area), a 3-point line that is 50 cm further away (6.75 m or 22'1.75"), and a no-charge zone under the basket.
NCAA
- NCAA Men's Committee Press Release annoucing rule changes for 2011–13. The key change is the addition of a 3-foot no-charge semicircle under the hoop. [Full details by rule]
- NCAA Women's Committee Press Release annoucing rule changes for 2011–13. Key changes are adopting the NCAA Men's 3-point distance and adding a no-charge semicircle under the hoop. [Full details by rule]
- The terminology for more serious fouls changes to the NBA-style "Flagrant 1" (formerly Intentional) and "Flagrant 2" (formerly "flagrant").
