Five minutes away, Buckley Bay ferry terminal gives you access to Denman and Hornby Islands. Courtenay, Comox, Qualicum Beach, Horne lake caves, Golf Courses, are all within 1/2 hour drive. Victoria is 2 1/2 hours away, Nanaimo is 45 minutes.

Mt. Washington is 45 minutes away and offers outstanding downhill and cross country skiing in the winter. Strathcona park has marvelous hiking and backpacking trails.
