The photo shows David Jack with me in my garden in late August 2003. We are admiring young blooms on a new hybrid that will be named Hy MOAB (Mother Of All Blooms). An outstanding Giant Decorative in clean, bright Yellow, which happens to be Dave's favorite colour! It is a seedling from Hamari Gold. It will probably go to Trial Gardens in 2005, aiming for release in 2006. Other photos of it will be featured in an article in Dahlias of Today for 2004.
