A State of Mind while bicycling, you love what
you're doing and argue like mad with your soulmate about the most
trivial things.

Usually brought about by; heat, exhaustion,
hunger or maps.

We don't really know where the idea came from, except it happened about three years ago. We did not just want to a little trip but we needed to get away from the Rat Race for a goodly period. Time moved slowly at first, but now June 15, 2002 is not that far away and we are iching.
Canada is a big country, it is our adopted country, it presents one with every challange possible. There are flat lands, there are mountains, there are hills, there are heat baked regions, there are moisture laden areas, there are areas where, just like us, they speak funny, there are areas where one finds wall to wall people and regions you meet no one for hours or even days. Is there really a better way to challange ourselves and become intemate with ones country? Our idea is to take 90 days from Vancouver, British Columbia to St.Johns, Newfoundland. We will be camping most of the way, with the occasional motel for a soft bed and a long..., long shower. We will also be doing most of our own cooking.
