NEW FUN WEEKEND EVENT

LOCAL ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR
Local businesses are always changing with the dynamics of Whistler and my business is no exception.  Focusing on our strengths and not our weaknesses to guide us through,  Freestyle is working on something new yet again with the next era and the Olympics down the road  Fresh off the Farmer's Market season and into the Gallery, Freestyle will be introducing their  Weekend Local's Arts 'n Crafts Fair in Whistler kicking off this weekend October 4th and 5th and then every following weekend till spring.
 
But first, how we got there.
 
Freestyle Framing and Art Gallery was always Whistler's first professional full service on site custom frame shop and gallery.  Framing art for customers locally and providing training in a new trade for many young careers. 
 
As the next half a decade unfolded and the market changed near the start of the new millennium,  the shop's services acquired another local business' operations in engraving and awards services. 
 
In the summer of 2003, with the growth of the manufacturing operations, Freestyle renovated the retail space on Main Street,  moving the workshop offsite and developing a showcase gallery for presentations. This includes art, jewelry and crafts with a designing centre for custom framing, engraving and awards.
 
The newly released gallery space now provides the forum for the Weekend Arts 'n Crafts Fair in the Freestyle Gallery.  Regular and rotating artisans are the feature with a blend for everyone's tastes.

NEW FUN WEEKEND EVENT

LOCAL ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR

 

You are invited to participate in a regular weekend arts and crafts event in our gallery. Starting on the 4th and 5th of October 2003 each weekend thereafter.

 

We have recently renovated the shop leaving open about 500 square feet. This includes a centre series of glass display cabinets and wall fixtures with display boxes.

 

In addition, there is a covered walkway that looks onto the Village Centre Park and Main Street. There is a 50 metre long commercial zone

right out front for ease of loading and unloading and customer pick ups. There is also ample parking out on Main Street or two hours free in the Marketplace a few doors away.

 

Without a huge commitment on anyone's part, just the usual $25.00 table fee, and with some well placed advertising, you can have the flavor of a Farmer's Market in the comforts of a gallery environment. Your customers will always know how to conveniently find you.

 

With the gift season coming up we can have a venue for tourists and local's to find your products in an established location.

 

The gallery is a member of Tourism Whistler and has an active website that can also provide an advertising base.
