Fly-fishing and Fly-casting Instruction

Fly-fishing has long been considered the "premier" method of fishing. Unfortunately, many people considered the sport too difficult and many of the fly-fishing genre exacerbated the problem by believing themselves "above" other fishermen. Not so any more. Today fly-fishing is one of the fastest growing sports in North America. Come and find out why!

I teach individuals one on one and I also teach classes. I am available year 'round for bookings for either. I can also restrict my lessons to particular areas, especially for those individuals wanting only casting instruction.

The full course covers all aspects of the sport including:

  • Tackle
  • Knots & Accessories
  • Casting (includes 1/2 a day practical)
  • Fish & their environment
  • Food and its presentation
  • Flies & techniques
  • Etiquette & Conservation
  • Where to shop

Courses are $65 per student. A minimum charge of $500 per course is the base rate if fewer than 8 students make up a course.
Class size is restricted to a max of 20 students.
Personal 1 on 1 lessons run $25 per hour per student or $50 per hour for more than 2 students.

Leave me an e-mail to arrange a telephone discussion about the course, or anything else for that matter.
