EMU egg carving Original one of a kind Hand carved and hand sculptured eagles

This carving is one of my more recent pieces.

This Beautiful carving is in tribute to the Bald Headed Eagle. The work measures 7 inches in height. The egg has an eagle’s head carved on the back and the wings wrap around the nest embracing the nest. The eagles inside are hand molded from sculpture clay and hand painted. The scene inside the egg is an eagle family feeding their baby. There is no paint used, the colors are within the EMU egg, dark emerald, turquoise green and white.The base is solid wood and the stand is metal. This work measures approx. 7 inches high.

Orca Tears

An emu egg carving of Luna the young Killer whale

In memory of Luna who was killed off the coast of Vancouver Island BC Canada, this egg was created and titled “ ORCA TEARS”

There was no paint used the colours are the natural colours of the Emu egg. The piece cut from the front of the egg were used to make the scene inside the egg and the teardrops on the base. There are tears drops coming from the eye of Luna and cascading down to the base of the stand. The back of the egg has tear drops etched into the shell. The title of the egg speaks for itself. The base is solid wood and the stand is gold plated metal.

The work measures 7 ½ inches from top to bottom.

Because this egg is quite fragile it will take alot of packing to keep it safe.
