The Infertility Connection of Edmonton is a support group that meets regularly to provide support to couples who are experiencing infertility. Coming to the support group allows people to share their experiences and listen to other infertility stories realizing that they are not alone. Friendships are formed - sometimes forever.
The Infertility Connection began in January of 1997 at which time there were approximately 6 people that were assisting with the startup of this support group. This is a non-profit organization and through the years we have had various volunteers helping with the group.
While we go through infertility as an individual and as a couple, we must also face how it affects the other aspects of our lives. Joining a support group is a great choice for many of us. While we all may feel the need for more support.... therapy and groups can help provide you with better coping skills, than you might find in your immediate environment.
