This module plugs directly onto a Circuitron Tortoise switch machine for cost effective and effective control of your model railroad switches.

A single input is used to request the switch to move to the opposite position. A single wire output provides three states to the status of the switch. Two controllers can be connected to provide control of a complete crossover with one control/indication interface. Use the Switch Control Panel to provide total control and indication of your switches.

Scale Speedometer   

SPEED TACH 100

The Speed Tach 100 is designed to measure the scale speed of a model train in MPH or KPH.  The system uses a microprocessor for accuracy.

Installation is relatively simple and only requires you to solder connections to one of the tracks, fix the track sections in place with epoxy (to prevent them from moving), and then cut isolated track segements with a razor saw or dremel cutting disk.  The unit uses either track power (DC or DCC), or a separate isolated power supply. The unit can use 8 to 24 volts AC or DC.  Either N or HO scale can be selected.

Now you can:
· Operate your trains at realistic scale speeds (ideal to show people what 50 mph really looks like in scale speed)
· Determine your locos top speed .  Speed match your locomotives so multi unit lash ups run more smoothly.
· Do you think your loco needs a tune-up?  Determine its top speed,  tune it up,  and then retest it.  Now you really know how much better they will run after a tune-up.
· Determine how fast your loco is running at a given throttle setting.
