Welcome to a forum designed to reflect on the theories of four major figures in Canadian media theory: Harold Adams Innis, Marshall McLuhan, Arthur Kroker, and Moses Znaimer.

The pages contained within this site will portray my thoughts and insights into what these intriguing theorists have brought to me. Some comments will be in agreement and some will possibly show some discontent, and/or refutation to those theories.

It’s funny to think of reflecting solely on Canadian media theory because there are so many non-Canadian media theorists in the world who have received a lot more attention than their Canadian counterparts. This is typically Canadian. Content to slip around in the shadows created by the glamsters of media theory, people like Innis, McLuhan, and Kroker have carried out their work and risen to prominence in a Canadian way--quiet and shamelessly.
