Well, after so many drama videos, I decided I needed to make another action video. This
turned out to be the video I've spent the most time on so far, with taking about four and
a half months from start to finish.
Before I started this, I knew I wanted to do an effects-based video just to see what I
could come up with for effects ideas. I thought a techno or trance song would be good for
allowing lots of effects, so that's what I went searching for. A problem with a lot of the
techno songs I found was that they were too monotonous and/or long for a music video, but
I eventually found one that fit what I was looking for (thanks to Koopiskeva for suggesting
the song, by the way). What I ended up doing was taking different parts from two different
versions of the song and mixing them together in Premiere to make my own version.
Near the end, as one of the effects, I used some visualizations from Windows Media Player.
I downloaded a capturing program that would let me take screenshots of the player's
visualizations and I put them in as overlays in my video. I'm not sure if I like them or
not, though.
I think this is one of my better videos to date. I put a lot more time into this one than
I normally do, probably because the effects just took a long, long time to get right.
There were some parts in the video that didn't turn out the way I wanted them to, but
overall I'm happy with it.
*WARNING:* The video is very flashy. Beware if you are prone to epileptic seizures.
Enjoy the video! ^_^
