Sunday morning is
the life-blood of the church. We are led in worship of our God; we hear
teaching from the Scriptures; we partake of communion; we pray together;
and we encourage one another. Sunday morning is a time for renewing our
sense of community and expressing our love and concern toward one
another. |

Our children are
most important to us. They participate in a Children's Sermon, and then
go to class. Once a month we have "Family Sunday" when the children stay
and worship with their family. These services are designed to meet the
needs of both groups. |
 |
From
Halloween parties to retreats; from dramas and making movies to home
Bible studies, we try to provide our youth with a support group that
loves them, cares for them, and knows each of them by name.
Our youth are
active in Sunday morning activities: they read Scripture , lead the
Children's Sermon, and some help teach the younger children.
Occasionally, the entire Sunday service is done by the youth. |
 |
These informal
gatherings are for fellowship and Bible study. We usually have our
mid-week gatherings on Thursday nights. |

You don't have to
be at Campbell-Stone very long before you begin to hear all of the good
things our women's group does. They meet on the second Tuesday evening
of each month to discuss faith issues and current topics. They are
involved in numerous outreach projects and enjoy an annual mountain
retreat. |

A big part of being
a Christian is having a servant heart. We believe in reaching out to
others in the name of Christ. CSUC is concerned about and involved in
many projects such as Wycliffe Bible Translators, the mission funds of
the United and Christian churches, Operation Eyesight, and others. We
also feel it is our calling to participate in the good work that Hull
Child and Family Services is accomplishing. A major project is
support of the Mustard Seed, collecting items such as toiletries,
socks, etc. to be used in their outreach programs. |
