Q: I don 't use Internet Explorer and FurcBack's Web Install program won't run. Can I still use FurcBack?

A: YES! - Simply download this standalone version and install it.

Q: Why does FurcBack try to connect to somewhere other then Furcadia's server?

A: It's either checking whether you have the required files to run it or it's checking/updating itself automatically. If you're still concerned about malicious program code feel free to download a program to see what is being transmitted. To put your mind at ease.. I have better things to do then steal people's digo items or characters.. people seem to just give me them so I have enough anyway :) NOTE: I don't think the Standalone version runs the updater.. if anyone can confirm this please let me know! :)

Q: I'm on Windows Vista. Does FurcBack work with this new operating system?

A: YES! - The new version of FurcBack was developed on XP initially and is now developed on Vista.

Q: Are there any special requirements to run in Vista?

A: Besides the .Net Framework you may require administrator elevation for FurcBack to work properly. There's no way around this as it accesses the file system and sockets. If it doesn't work try right clicking the program in start menu and selecting "Run As Administrator".

Q: Where is the program installed?

A: Start > All Programs > Computim > FurcBack!

Q: How do I Uninstall FurcBack?

A: Go to the Windows "Add/Remove Programs" and uninstall it from there (XP and earlier)
Open the start menu, in the search box type Control Panel. Double click the Control Panel result in the upper window, click "Control Panel Home" on the left menu bar then under "Programs" click Uninstall a Program (Vista)

Q: I still can't get it to work on my computer! Can I email you?

A: Feel free to email all you want.. I probably won't answer though as I don't have much time to provide anything beyond basic support. If you want to donate a reasonable amount to my paypal account (Computim@Shaw.ca) I'd be happy to provide more advanced tech support ;)
