Canadian Income Tax Schedule of 2011 is set  for the 1% not for the 99%.

Here is a 1954 Income Tax schedule. If we would use the same rates today we would not have a deficit and the Government would have plenty of money for Health care and Infrastructure.

Progressivity of the 1954 Code

With respect to the Federal income tax on individuals, the 1954 Code imposed a progressive tax with 24 income brackets applying to tax rates ranging from 20% to 91%. For example, the following is a schedule showing the Federal marginal income tax rate imposed on each level of taxable income of a single (unmarried) individual under the 1954 Code:  Assuming the wages are 18.75 times higher today as in 1954.

Changes Canada needs, to be a real democratic country.

       1. We need free voting in Parliament.

    2. Senate must be voted in by the public and be part of the general assembly.
       3. There must be a fixed amount of Ministers and be voted in by the general assembly not appointed by the Prime Minister.
       4. Canada needs referendums and initiatives.

We do not need a Prime Minister nor a President. Let the ministers and the congress govern the country with the backing of the people.
Only in Canada can a party with 39.62% of the popular vote have a majority government. That means 60.38% have voted against this government.

We need more people like Brigette DePal.
