Strata Meeting

The next strata meeting for the building is scheduled for Wednesday, November 21, 2011 @ 6:00 p.m in the meeting room located on the second level next to the fitness center.  All Owners are encouraged to attend.

Annual General Meeting

Every year the strata corporation must hold a general assembly of its owners. This opportunity enables your council to update owners on the financial status of the strata corporation as well as the progress of projects. The budget will also be presented along with funding requests for future projects and changes to bylaws and you will have a chance to vote in favour or against the initiatives presented.

At the end of the meeting the current council will resign and a new council will be elected for the next year: this is your opportunity to get involved in the management of your building and the strata corporation: 6 positions exist for the Residential section and 1 position for the Commercial section (default to commercial space owner). Owners with a financial or accounting background can play a particularly important role on council, as well as persons with knowledge of building mechanics and strata law.

As a council member, it is expected that you attend the monthly meetings and participate in committee work. Count on a minimum involvement of 1 day per month. You can spend as much time helping out as you want: there is always something to plan, organize or follow-up on in the building.

More details on the date and location of the upcoming AGM will be communicated and mailed-out to all owners, as required by the Strata Property Act.
