Patents Pending ![]() The camping dilemma - I want to camp in an RV with all the amenities of home, but I also want to tow a boat, or my bikes or sleds. A motor home is too big and I have to uproot the whole campsite to go into town, and though a camper lets me drive the truck around easily, it is too small for my family. Our truck camper with the second bedroom that lowers into position solves this dilemma. Now you can go camping with the whole family in an RV that sleeps 6 in real comfort, and you can still tow your recreational vehicles. Our Mission: To provide better campers at lower costs through better manufacturing technology, innovative designs, and efficient, internet-based business practices. Campers – they represent the ART of RV vacationing. What we call the ART of camping is made up of three ingredients - Accommodation, Recreation, and Transportation. To totally enjoy camping you need to have the right mix of these three ingredients. You don't want to compromise on one ingredient so you can get an acceptable amount of another. For example, giving up accommodation space so you can bring your toys for recreation is a common compromise. An RV is all about mobile accommodation but if you can’t bring along your recreational equipment or vehicles, your choice of activities is limited, and that often defeats the whole purpose of going camping. Another compromise is doing without local transportation so you can bring your toys for recreation. Once you’re established in a campsite you still need local transportation. You don’t want to have to uproot the entire campsite to drive to town for groceries or to launch the boat. A two-bedroom CamperKing camper on a pick-up truck is better suited to providing all three of these elements than any other style of RV.
These days many of us have a pick-up truck with enough seating capacity for the whole family. We can put a camper on the truck and still tow the boat, motorcycles, or other recreational vehicles on a trailer. Upon reaching the destination the Accommodation, Recreation, and Transportation devices can easily and quickly be separated and used independently. Use the truck to launch the boat or to drive to town while the camper remains at the campsite. Try that with a motor home. With a fifth-wheel or a travel trailer you can take the vehicle to town, but you aren't able to tow the boat or other vehicles to get them camping with you. We know people with this problem and they solve it by bringing two vehicles! No combination can provide all three functions separately, yet can travel as a single unit, like a truck mounted CamperKing camper.
