Players:
Usually played with two or four players, or, (Can be individual or partners)
The Deal:
All players

players.
Ten cards each for two players. These ten (or seven), cards may be
taken into the hand by the players
The balance of the cards are laid out as shown below, one card on each
side and one on each
end with the balance of the deck, (the stock
pile,) placed face down in the middle

The Play:
Play starts with the player to the left of the dealer and continues clockwise and the round endswhen any player gets rid of all their cards. A player, in their turn, must draw one card off the stock pile.
They will then check to see where a card(s) may be played.
A card may be slipped under another (e.g. as the
J
under the
10
as shown
in the diagram below,)
but, only if a blank space has been first
created by moving a King to the corner or another card onto one that is in
the correct sequence, numerically, large numbers to smaller numbers out to
the Ace.
Red onto Black or Vice Versa. Once the empty space has been filled, no more cards may be played under, but may still be played onto a sequence until the player indicates no more plays.
A player may not intentionally withhold a playable card.
Only the kings may be placed in the corners for the purpose of starting a sequence there.
If a pile is finished in the proper sequence from the King to the Ace, then that pile is complete.
A King is never moved from the corner once it is placed there.

The

was then placed onto another corner.
This leaves

Naturally,
if a sequence play or move (s) has been missed,
the next player may make it in their turn.
We are purposely missing an obvious move here to create an example

player has drawn the

then gets a break here as number two player missed a move. The

Since this has used all the the player's cards, the fourth player will not get a turn in this round and will count all the cards in hand.

The card count is face cards 10 points; all other cards count
face value. Since number four player got
caught with
a K
in the hand,
it will also count 10 points against this player. Normally there would
be no King to count as they can be played onto an open corner
on a player's turn. If number three
player had
not played all the cards from the hand, the play would continue until a player
did get to play off all the cards from the hand. On each and
every turn a player must draw one card from the stock pile.
In partnership play, the partner of the player who has played off all
cards does not need to count any cards
The Game score for Four players is 200 points; Two Players 100 points. |
The point count for this particular round is |
Player number One: 22 points as individual or, (partnership with (#3,) would be 0 points, ( just toss cards in.) |
Player number Two: 22 points as individual. |
Player number Three: 0 points as individual. |
Player number Four: 28 points as individual. Players number two & four playing as partners would be 50 points combined. |
There is not a lot of strategy to this game, mostly the luck of the draw and being very sure not to miss a move and card placements as they arise, lest the opponent takes advantage of the opportunity to play their cards. |
